There are also a variety of precious and semi-precious minerals that are also mined. These include peridot, aquamarine, topaz, ruby, emerald, rare-earth minerals bastnaesite and xenotime, sphene, tourmaline, and many varieties and types of quartz.. Currently around 52 minerals, are mined and processed in Pakistan.

Metal Ores Mining
We deal in exploration and mining of Copper Ore, Chromite Ore, Iron Ore and Manganese Ore. It is done through our own leased or long-term contracted mines spread across various parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Dir district of Pakistan.
Having our own arrangements for ore inspection, testing and grading, we ensure that the right quality of minerals in accordance with the specifications.
Gems and precious stones mining
Silicon Ways deal in exploration and mining of aquamarine, ruby, serpentine, spessartine (garnet), emerald, topaz and quartz (citrine & others). Our mining sites of these gems are in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Federally Administered Tribal Areas and Gilgit-Baltistan regions of Pakistan.
Copper Ore Upgrading
We are the final stages of setting up plants for upgrading the cooper ore from lower (4) to higher (25) percentage. The initial plant being set-up in Dera Ismail Khan, Pakistan is having the capacity of processing 250 MT per day.
